Privacy Policy & Data Governance
Last updated: 27 October 2026 · Published by PT Geo Inovasi Nusantara
Summary of Our Privacy Commitments
- 1. Data Products Without PII (Personally Identifiable Information): The spatial data we process and provide does not contain names, phone numbers, NIK (national identity numbers), home addresses, or individual identity data, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
- 2. Irreversible K-Anonymity (k≥50): All mobility data is aggregated into 50m × 50m spatial grid cells with a minimum threshold of 50 unique signals to prevent the tracking of individuals.
- 3. With Reference to UU PDP: Our systems are designed following the principles of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Indonesia.
1. Identity of the Data Controller
GeoSquare's spatial analytics services and data platform are operated by:
Entity: PT Geo Inovasi Nusantara
Official Address: Signature by Regus, South Quarter Tower C Lt. 10, Jl. R.A. Kartini Kav. 8, Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan 12430
Privacy Contact Email: admin@geosquare.ai
2. Data Sources & Aggregation Methodology
GeoSquare produces macro- and micro-area analytical insights through a combination of officially licensed data sources and open public data:
- Aggregated Telecommunications Mobility Signals: Received from official telecommunications operator partners as aggregated volume summaries per transmitter station/grid, without subscriber identity metadata.
- Remote Sensing & Satellite Imagery: 0.5m-resolution imagery used to detect physical building density, road infrastructure development, and green open space.
- Public Census & BPS Data: Aggregate demographic statistics at the kecamatan (subdistrict) and kelurahan (urban village) level, published by Statistics Indonesia (Badan Pusat Statistik, BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Commercial POI Catalog: Points covering shops, shophouses, restaurants, and public facilities, curated from field surveys and open geospatial data.
3. Application of Differential Privacy & K-Anonymity
To ensure that no individual's movements can be reconstructed (anti-re-identification):
Our platform applies k-anonymity with a minimum threshold value of k = 50. If a 50m grid cell has signal samples below the threshold within a given period, the data in that cell is automatically suppressed (removed from visualizations and data feeds).
In addition, differential privacy noise is injected into dwell-time calculation data to protect the privacy of visitors in residential areas.
4. Website Visitor Data (Landing Page & Dashboard)
When you access this website (geosquare.ai):
- Contact Form & Demo Requests: The forms on this site do not send data to our servers; they only prepare an email in your email app. The data you send in that email (name, work email, company name, job title, industry, region, and message) is used solely to respond to your request.
- No Analytics & Tracking: This website does not use analytics services, cookies, or third-party trackers. We do not record the pages you visit or your browsing history.
5. Data Subject Rights Under UU PDP
In accordance with Chapter IV of Personal Data Protection Law No. 27/2022, data subjects have the right to:
- Obtain clarity on the identity of the data controller and the basis for data processing.
- Request the deletion or correction of business contact information previously submitted through our website.
- Submit privacy governance questions or complaints directly to our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
